Mapas cognitivos difusos para modelar la transferencia de tecnología en universidades privadas mexicanas

Resumen

La transferencia de tecnología universidad-industria ha sido considerada como un motor de innovación; sin embargo, en México se identificó un rezago reflejado en dependencia tecnológica, limitada comercialización del conocimiento y baja generación de patentes. Aunque las universidades privadas son actores relevantes, no se encontró evidencia de datos oficiales actualizados que la cuantifiquen, y estudios sobre las variables que la impulsan. Ante esto el objetivo fue diseñar un mapa cognitivo difuso (MCD) que modele las relaciones entre las variables que intervienen en la transferencia con el fin de identificar las más influyentes. Se empleó un enfoque mixto, con predominio cualitativo que integró revisión documental, entrevistas a expertos de las Oficinas de Transferencia de Tecnología (OTT) y análisis mediante MCD. Con la información se construyó una matriz de adyacencia aumentada, se calcularon medidas de centralidad y se realizaron simulaciones de escenarios. Los resultados mostraron que las patentes, la OTT, los licenciamientos y el autofinanciamiento son los pilares del sistema, destacando las patentes con la centralidad más alta. Las simulaciones demostraron que la activación conjunta de variables permitió una rápida convergencia del sistema, la OTT generó resultados de convergencia en dos iteraciones del recurso privado, mientras que el autofinanciamiento tuvo un efecto inmediato sobre los resultados de transferencia. Se concluyó que la transferencia de tecnología en universidades privadas depende de la articulación de capacidades internas, donde el financiamiento propio, la gestión del conocimiento por medio de las OTT y generación del conocimiento protegido resultan determinantes para fortalecer el ecosistema de innovación.
