Consultorios jurídicos y derechos humanos: el caso de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo

El objetivo de esta investigación fue examinar el papel de los consultorios jurídicos en la formación de los estudiantes de derecho, con un enfoque particular en su capacidad para promover los derechos humanos. Para ello, se realizó una investigación de campo, con enfoque metodológico cualitativo en la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo. Los datos se recabaron mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas. El método principal de recolección de datos fue la entrevista semiestructurada, dirigida a estudiantes de derecho, profesores vinculados a la supervisión de los consultorios jurídicos y abogados que colaboran en estas unidades. El proceso de selección de los participantes fue intencional y se basó en la participación activa en el consultorio jurídico de esta universidad. El análisis de la información se realizó utilizando la técnica de análisis de contenido. Los resultados revelaron importantes hallazgos sobre el papel transformador de los consultorios jurídicos en la formación de los estudiantes de derecho y su impacto en la promoción de los derechos humanos y el acceso a la justicia. A través del análisis de contenido se identificaron temas centrales que destacan la relevancia de estos espacios: la formación práctica de los estudiantes, el empoderamiento legal de las comunidades vulnerables y los desafíos en la implementación y sostenibilidad de los consultorios jurídicos. Se concluye que los consultorios jurídicos son espacios clave para la educación jurídica y la promoción de los derechos humanos. Sin embargo, también pone de manifiesto la necesidad urgente de abordar los desafíos estructurales que limitan su funcionamiento.Descargas
