Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Investigación

Maximum originality and innovation. They collect the results of unpublished research, theoretical or experimental, qualitative, or quantitative. The original aspects of the research must be clearly appreciated. It must be structured with the title in Spanish and English, names and surnames of the author or authors, email address of each of the authors in gmail preference, institution to which they belong (indicating city and country), ORCID identifiers, summary, descriptors, abstract , keywords, introduction (includes statement of the topic or problem, objectives or purposes, justification or importance, theoretical reference), methodology, discussion, results, references consulted (only those used in the citation of the article). It must contain no less than 10 reference citations

Review

They describe and/or compile the most recent developments or published works on a certain topic, always providing some improvement, complement or original perspective that must also be expressly highlighted. They are a theoretical synthesis and a current vision of the topic addressed and, above all, highlight what may be a novel contribution to it. It must contain no less than 25 reference citations. It must be structured with the title in Spanish and English, names and surnames of the author or authors, email address of each of the authors in gmail preference, institution to which they belong (indicating city and country), ORCID identifier, summary, descriptors, abstract , keywords, introduction (presentation of the topic), development of the review, contributions generated from the review, references consulted (only those used in the citation of the article).

Editorial

Topics of editorial interest are proposed in an expository-argumentative way. Works commissioned by the director and/or editor.

Essay

Broadly describes the results of an investigation or a topic, the author presents his opinion or position. It must be structured with the title, introduction, development, conclusions, and references. It must have at least 15 bibliographical references and an extension of 10 to 25 pages.
