Proceso de evaluación por pares

Peer Review Process

The Holopraxis Journal uses a double-blind peer review system to ensure the objectivity and impartiality of authors and reviewers, respectively. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. This minimizes potential biases related to authorship, institutional affiliation, gender, nationality, academic background, or other factors unrelated to the scientific quality of the work.

Once the manuscript is received on the platform, a preliminary review is conducted to verify its alignment with the journal’s focus and scope, as well as compliance with submission guidelines and established editorial requirements. Additionally, the manuscript is checked to ensure it meets minimum standards for quality and originality using the Turnitin similarity check and artificial intelligence, after which it proceeds to external evaluation. Manuscripts that do not meet these preliminary criteria may be rejected at this stage without being sent for peer review.

Subsequently, articles that pass the previous phase are sent to reviewers and evaluated using an assessment template based on scientific and editorial criteria, including: originality, writing style, and relevance; clarity of objectives; theoretical foundation; methodological rigor; quality and consistency of the analysis; and presentation of results and discussion.
