FACTORES DETERMINANTES DE LA MOTIVACIÓN EMPRENDEDORA

Resumen

Esta investigación postula a través de una revisión de la literatura que los factores determinantes de la motivación emprendedora, suelen provenir de 2 tipos de factores: (1) cognitivos y (2) sociales/ambientales. Con este antecedente, se examina la capacidad de estos dos factores, representados a través de 3 variables, para predecir la motivación emprendedora, mediante un estudio exploratorio dentro del cual se utilizó la base de datos del Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2014, la cual abarca una muestra de 62 países, en los cuales se realizó una encuesta a 201.841 personas. Los resultados indican que estos 2 factores predijeron significativamente la motivación emprendedora, con un R2 ajustado de 0.528. Por ende este estudio proporciona una explicación de la motivación emprendedora, que será útil para los potenciales emprendedores y para quienes los alientan y guían.PALABRAS CLAVE: Emprendimiento; factores; GEM; motivación.DETERMINING FACTORS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL MOTIVATIONABSTRACTThis research postulates through a literature review that the determinant factors of entrepreneurial motivation tend to come from 2 types of factors: (1) cognitive factors and (2) social/environmental factors.
