CONSIDERACIONES TEÓRICAS PARA EL ABORDAJE DE LA PERCEPCIÓN AMBIENTAL: UN ANÁLISIS PERTINENTE

Resumen

En el área educativa hoy son frecuentes los programas, estrategias u otras alternativas para la educación ambiental. Sin embargo, en el proceder científico y en la práctica se evidencia deficiencias que atentan contra el éxito del propio proceso. Los autores del presente artículo determinaron durante la práctica educativa y en investigaciones realizadas las deficiencias en el campo de la teoría para abordar las problemáticas ambientales con un fundamento desde la psicología. Son entonces importantes temas como la conciencia ambiental, actitudes ambientales y las percepciones ambientales. En este caso, se trabaja esta última categoría con el objetivo de fundamentar en la teoría un camino sobre el cual futuros programas ambientales puedan elaborar. Con el empleo de métodos teóricos como el analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo y el histórico lógico se alcanzaron los resultados esperados. Un recorrido por una bibliografía no precisamente contemporánea, demuestra la secuencia en el tiempo de los temas hasta llegar a la actualidad. Como conclusión, se logra desde la filosofía, antropología, la fisiología y la psicología asumir un concepto de percepción ambiental. PALABRAS CLAVE: percepción; ambiente; percepción ambientalTHEORETICAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR ADDRESSING ENVIRONMENTAL PERCEPTION: A RELEVANT ANALYSISABSTRACTIn the educational area today, programs, strategies and other alternatives for environmental education are frequent.  However, in the scientific procedure and in practice there are deficiencies that attempt against the success of the process itself.  The authors of the present article determined during the educational practice and in investigations carried out the deficiencies in the field of theory to approach environmental problems with a foundation from psychology.  Therefore, environmental awareness, environmental attitudes and environmental perceptions are important issues.  In this case, the latter category is worked on with the aim of establishing in theory a path on which future environmental programs can be elaborated.  With the use of theoretical methods such as analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and historical-logical methods, the expected results were achieved.  A journey through a not precisely contemporary bibliography shows the sequence in time of the topics until reaching the present time.  As a conclusion, philosophy, anthropology, physiology and psychology can assume a concept of environmental perception.KEYWORDS: perception; environment; environmental perception.
