Objective of the journal's publications.
Mikarimin is a journal that seeks scientific and technological exchange through periodic publications that enable and demonstrate the generation of new knowledge, its systematisation, and its interactions with social development in the areas of administrative, computer, legal, and educational sciences.
Mission.
Mikarimin Journal publishes original peer-reviewed scientific research in the fields of administrative sciences, computer science, law, and education, generated at the national and international levels, which facilitates the dissemination and diffusion of scientific results and provides professionals and interested members of the public with access to up-to-date information from the theoretical, epistemological, and methodological dimensions of the areas of interest.
Vision.
Mikarimin Journal is a nationally and internationally recognised peer-reviewed quarterly scientific publication, indexed in prestigious databases, with articles of high scientific content that contribute to the development of administrative, computer, legal and educational sciences, promoting the dissemination of original research for the consolidation of knowledge and research, serving as a bridge of encouragement and support for the ongoing professional training of collaborators and society in general.
Peer review process.
Articles will be submitted to a double-blind evaluation process. Manuscripts with a negative peer review, and which are not favourable for publication, will be sent to a third reviewer whose decision will be final. This process can take up to four months, so authors are notified that once the deadline has passed without a conclusion being reached, they may withdraw their manuscript, after notifying the editors, and submit it to another journal.
It is guaranteed that there will be no inbreeding or conflict of interest.
The Editor is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published, based on the results of the arbitration, and his decision is final.
The members of the Editorial Committee are part of the team of arbitrators, most of whom are external to UNIANDES.
Papers accepted on condition that minor changes are made must be updated within 30 days.
As long as they are accepted for publication, they will be scheduled for the next issue in preparation, unless the subject matter suggests reserving them for a subsequent or special issue.
Neither the submission of manuscripts nor the editorial process involves the payment of any fees. No APC is charged.
Frequency of publication.
The Mikarimin Journal is published quarterly and is available online in January, May, and September of each year. Special issues may be published as needed.
Open access policy.
This journal provides open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps to promote a greater global exchange of knowledge.
